Oman a view from a well known hotel chain. The pool was stunning and what you would expect from a nice hotel and then when you looked out over the beach it was a surprising industrial port.
I have taken Photos to show how different lenses give different point of views.
From Wide Angle to Telefoto. The different perspective not only changes the image but the story in this case.
This image was taken at a focal length of 14mm a wide angle lens.
This next shot was taken with my zoom lens of 28 – 80mm, at 80mm. By changing the lens I have given a different story instead of being in a classic shot of a swimming pool in a hotel we can see a child playing however the innocence of the child with the industrial background makes us think. As ever today we are aware of the industrial landscape and of the environmental hazards particularly when we think about the next generation and how it will effect them. This photo has taken on a whole new meaning. The different focal length means we can zoom in on a detail rather than a general view.
