Image 6 Contrast 2 f 5.8 shutter speed 1/50 ISO 400. Lens 28 – 80mm zoom @ 58mm
There were many doors in this gallery all of different colours however it was difficult to find how to make them interesting as a shot and to combine them in the correct colour arrangement. I have taken an angle with the camera lying agains the wall and a wide aperture to try and give interest to the image. The available light is daylight however it is still quite dark so I increased the ISO to 400 however with the colour assignments I did not want to increase beyond this or create noise as I felt it could detract from the colours. Using a 28 – 80 zoom lens at around 58mm the maximum aperture was 5.8 and so this dictated a shutter speed of 1/50 this is at the limits of hand held. A tripod would have been impossible at this location there was no room.
