Objective person working with their work in front of them. I have decided to add this image of a Man working at his fish stall in the busy Chiang Mai Market.
The image was taken at f8 1/000 on my zoom lens at approximately 50mm and an ISO of 500.
The objective of this was to do a juxtaposition either for a book cover or of a person and the work or hobby. I have photographed a macrobiotic chef giving a class in Thailand.
The kitchen runs along a wall and I have chosen to show as much of this as possible. While the teacher is stirring some greens for colour. I have asked her for a moment to look up from her work and she has quickly looked up and I snapped. It is dark as we are in the shade the light coming in is natural and from the direction behind the camera. I have used a high ISO which allowed me to use f16 and keep everything in focus at a shutter speed of 1/60.
I liked the fact that she is holding a green bowl while there is green in the bowl she is mixing and green in the plant behind as the class is all about your health. The type of improvised kitchen can be seen by the cooker which sits on a counter top and the small plastic chopping board in front.
