The aim of this exercise is to take some photos from my own archive and to try and establish balance in each one. If the photo is well balanced the eye and brain will not perceive any tension within the image.
There were many images from my archives that had so many different balances within that it was difficult to say what was the balance colour, shapes etc and there were so many shapes as to be difficult to be precise. I have chosen a few simpler examples. Also I believe in photos that there are so many other influences that it is often difficult to say where the balance lays or in some cases perhaps this type of balance was not given in order to surprise or merely there is not the time to create it.
